Man In Coronavirus Lockdown Flirts With Neighbor, Gets Date Using Drone

With the coronavirus upon us and many states telling residents not to leave their homes, it's a pretty hard time to meet someone to date. Well one man in Brooklyn found a unique way to strike up a relationship with a female neighbor, and he documented it all in a 30 second TikTok video.

In the clip, 28-year-old photographer Jeremy Cohen shows a girl on the roof of a building across the street from him. He explains, "I looked out my window and saw this girl dancing, perhaps to a TikTok song." He waved at her and she waved back, so he ran into his apartment, grabbed a marker, paper and tape, and attached his number to his drone. He flew it over to her and not long after he got a text for her.

Jeremy told the New York Post, "I thought she was really cute from far away. During this quarantine, I think everyone is fiending for social interaction. I was like, 'Oh my god, a girl! I haven't seen one for so long!'"

Cohen explained that flirting is "normally daunting" for him but that he is also a hopeless romantic. He stated, "2020 has been off to a terrible start, but I still needed to shoot my shot. She picked up my drone and I guess it worked."

The cute girl is 28-year-old Tori Cignarella and we'll have to wait for Jeremy's next post to find out what happened. He wrote on Instagram that "Part 2 is underway," but as yet, there is no word on what it will show. However, he did say, "I have asked her out on a date, but we have to figure out what it will be. I have an idea but I can't say it yet. It's not going to be in-person."

Jeremy is using his viral fame to bring attention and contributions to Help Main Street, which lets people buy gift cards for small businesses, and Feeding America, a food bank organization. He explained, "I don't want to be selfish. I am just trying to use this for some good."
